New Adult SS Classes beginning November 30:
Biblical Marriage-Love her! Respect him! What is Paul saying in Ephesians 5? Married couples and couple-to-be are invited to look at the aspects of love and respect taught by video speaker Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. Some topics include: "Why couples negatively react to each other and How to best motivate our mate?" Small group discussions will provide opportunity to find application to each lesson. Come, learn and get to know other couples. Taught by Steve & Carolyn Posey and Greg & Beth Shearer.
Discipleship Class- As a follower of Christ, we are to grow in the knowledge of His word. If Jesus is truly "Lord of your life", your desire will be to put Him at the center of your life. We will discuss the essentials to Christian living through scripture, prayer, and aligning your life with God's will. As we mature in our faith, we will better serve believers as well as non-believers. Let's get started on building a strong foundation for your relationship with Jesus. Teacher: Tim Odland
Ruth and Esther- This class will study two ancient Old Testament books featuring timeless truths. We will begin with Ruth, a story about finding hope even in the most difficult circumstances. From the book of Esther, we will learn what it means to live by faith in dangerously uncertain times. All are welcome! Teacher: Jim Power
College and Career Class- will be fininshing The Pleasures of God by John Piper. Next topic is the Biblical book of Colossians. Study led by Pastor Randy.
