THERE'S STILL TIME! Remember that youth can still register to participate in our library's Summer Reading Challenge. Stop in and find out the details.
Notice the 5-Day Backyard Bible club display on the bulletin board across from the library for pictures of the current club and a schedule for the remaining clubs of the summer.
Please pray for the Backyard Bible Club this week. The club for the week of August 1 has been cancelled.
August newsletter deadline has passed. Please submit your August newsletter articles to Karen Walker at kwalker@firstfreesf.org.
Ladies: We have been invited to hear Dee Brestin, an international writer, speaker, and teacher who will be speaking in Willmar, Minnesota, on October 9, 2010, at a ladies retreat. Tickets are $25. See the Women’s Ministry table for information and signup sheet. As space is limited, we will be purchasing tickets August 16, so don’t delay. Questions, call Jeanie Storer.
Do you like to serve behind the scenes? We have a need for help with the AV team, primarily working with the video. This will involve no more than two Sundays per month. No experience necessary—we will train! What is required is a desire to serve the Lord. Contact Kurt Johnson for more details.
To our family at First E Free, We want to express our heartfelt thanks to those who sent words of condolence and comfort after the recent passing of our Dad and Grandpa. We were especially blessed by the words of Scripture that were chosen. The lovely plant from the church is bringing a precious, daily reminder of the loving care we receive from our church family and our Heavenly Father. We are grateful. Blessings, Ron, Marilyn & Jeremy Krahn
